NCT ID NCT07255365
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether letting young children (ages 3 to 5.5) watch a short 360° virtual reality video of the clinic before their checkup can reduce their fear and crying during the exam. Half of the 100 children will use VR goggles for 3 minutes, while the other half waits as usual. Researchers will measure distress, crying time, and heart rate to see if the VR tour makes the visit smoother for kids, parents, and doctors.
