VR goggles before the doctor: a 3-Minute tour to tame toddler anxiety?
NCT ID NCT07255365
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jul 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether letting children aged 3 to 5.5 watch a short 360-degree video of the clinic through VR goggles before their exam can reduce their fear and distress. Half of the 100 children will use the VR, while the other half will wait as usual. Researchers will measure crying, pain scores, and heart rate to see if the VR helps kids stay calm and makes the exam easier for the doctor.
