First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a virtual reality headset or a sedative drug (dexmedetomidine) is better at lowering anxiety and stress in women having a planned C-section. About 52 mothers will take part, and researchers will also check how their heart rate, blood pressure, and the baby's breathing are affected. The goal is to find a safe, effective way to help mothers feel calmer during surgery.
