NCT ID NCT07530120
First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether watching a video of the eye surgery process beforehand—either as a regular 2D video or an immersive 360-degree virtual reality (VR) video—could help reduce anxiety in patients. 180 adults scheduled for outpatient eye surgery participated. The goal was to see which method worked best compared to receiving no video at all.
