NCT ID NCT07265960
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether watching nature scenes through a virtual reality headset or squeezing a stress ball can reduce fear, pain, and anxiety in adults undergoing ureteroscopy (a procedure for kidney stones). 90 participants will be randomly assigned to VR, stress ball, or standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety, pain, fear, and satisfaction before and after the procedure.
