Bringing the outdoors in: VR nature walks tested to lift spirits in MS
NCT ID NCT07392879
Summary
This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) to experience nature walks at home can help reduce depression in people with progressive multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will give 40 participants a VR headset to use for short sessions several times a week over 8 weeks, alongside their usual care. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and if it helps improve mood, stress, sleep, and fatigue compared to standard treatments alone.
