VR goggles to calm nerves during surgery?
NCT ID NCT07463638
Summary
This study is testing if a virtual reality (VR) mindfulness program can help patients feel less anxious and experience less pain during minor vascular surgeries done with local anesthesia. Researchers will enroll 160 patients, with half using the VR program and half receiving standard care. They will measure anxiety, pain, and overall satisfaction to see if the VR approach improves the surgical experience.
