First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether using virtual reality goggles or a kaleidoscope can help reduce fear and anxiety in children aged 4 to 6 during a kidney scan (renal scintigraphy). The scan requires the child to lie still, which can be scary. The study will compare these two distraction methods to see which works better. About 90 children will take part.
