First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a virtual reality (VR) headset with a guided meditation program can reduce pain, anxiety, and distress in men during a vasectomy. About 90 adult men will be randomly assigned to either use VR during the procedure or receive standard care. Researchers will compare pain scores, anxiety levels, and satisfaction between the two groups to see if VR improves the experience.
