First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual reality (VR) experience can help people who are in early recovery from stimulant use disorder stay sober longer and reduce their drug use. Researchers will compare a VR group to a control group to see if the VR tool improves abstinence, future thinking, and decision-making. The trial enrolls 200 adults who have been abstinent for at least 14 days but less than one year.
