VR goggles aim to ease pain and fear in common urology exams
NCT ID NCT07338292
Summary
This study is testing whether using a virtual reality (VR) headset during common outpatient urology procedures can help reduce patients' pain and anxiety. It will involve 56 adults undergoing procedures like prostate biopsy, cystoscopy, or circumcision. The goal is to see if this non-drug 'digital sedation' can improve comfort and reduce the need for traditional sedatives.
