First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a virtual reality (VR) headset during a breast biopsy can lower feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress. About 80 women will either wear a VR headset showing a calming scene for 15-30 minutes or receive standard care. Researchers will compare their emotional state before and after the procedure using a standard questionnaire.
