Summary
This study enrolls 200 daily smokers aged 22+ to see if a virtual reality test can measure how much attention they pay to smoking cues. Half will take the medication varenicline and half a placebo for about two weeks. Researchers will track changes in eye gaze, cravings, and smoking behavior to learn if VR can serve as a reliable biomarker for nicotine addiction.
