Your voice may reveal hidden brain risks during cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07249528

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing whether daily voice recordings can help doctors spot early signs of a brain-related side effect called ICANS in people receiving CAR T-cell therapy for non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma. About 20 participants will use their smartphones to record their voice twice a day and complete short thinking and memory tests. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and could lead to a simple, non-invasive way to monitor for neurotoxicity.
