Could your smartphone hear Alzheimer's coming?

NCT ID NCT06994767

Summary

This study tested whether a smartphone app that analyzes a person's voice and speech patterns could accurately identify early Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Researchers compared the app's results against a doctor's clinical diagnosis in 150 adults aged 50 and older. The goal was to see if voice analysis could become a simple, accessible tool for earlier detection.
