Simple straw exercise may help soothe tired voices
NCT ID NCT05357222
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a simple vocal exercise—humming or singing through a straw—can help people with voice fatigue or hoarseness expand their pitch range and improve voice stability. About 120 adults with no current voice disorder but with high or low vocal activity will perform the exercises and have their voice range measured. The goal is to see if this easy technique can strengthen and stabilize the voice.
