First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a program called Vivo can help older adults (60+) with prediabetes improve their leg strength and blood sugar levels. 74 sedentary participants were split into two groups: one did the Vivo program for 12 weeks, the other waited. The main goal was to see if Vivo helped them do more chair stands in 30 seconds and lower their HbA1c (a measure of average blood sugar).
