First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 12-week program called Vivo can improve leg strength and blood sugar levels in sedentary older adults (60+) with prediabetes. 74 participants were randomly assigned to either the Vivo program or a waitlist. The main goals were to see if Vivo helped people do more chair stands in 30 seconds and lower their HbA1c (a measure of average blood sugar).
