First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a stent called VivaStent to see if it is safe and can reduce severe pulsatile tinnitus (a rhythmic whooshing sound in the ear) caused by a narrowed vein in the brain. About 15 adults with this condition will have the stent placed to widen the vein. Researchers will check for side effects and measure tinnitus improvement over 12 months.
