New stent could silence debilitating ringing in the ears

Summary

This study tests a new stent called BosSTENT for people with severe pulse-synchronous tinnitus caused by a narrowed vein in the brain. The stent is placed to open the vein and reduce the ringing sound. Researchers will check if it safely improves tinnitus symptoms in 90 adults aged 18 to 80.
