First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking vitamin D3 supplements can help people recover from a mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI). The researchers will give different doses of vitamin D3 or a placebo to 240 adults for three weeks and track their recovery over six months. The goal is to see if vitamin D3 can reduce brain inflammation and improve long-term outcomes, especially in places where healthcare resources are limited.
