Summary
This study looked at 106 teenage girls (70 with PCOS and 36 healthy) to see if vitamin D levels are linked to belly fat and metabolic problems like insulin resistance. Researchers measured blood vitamin D, sugar, insulin, cholesterol, and belly fat using ultrasound. The goal was to better understand early heart and metabolic risks in teens with PCOS.
