Can a vitamin d boost help light therapy fight skin cancer?

NCT ID NCT07241585

Summary

This study aims to understand how a light-based treatment, with or without Vitamin D, affects the immune system's response to common skin cancers. Researchers will study adults in Ohio who are already scheduled for skin cancer surgery. Participants may take Vitamin D or a placebo for six days and receive a single light treatment before their scheduled procedure to see how it changes the immune cells around the tumor.
