Summary
This study looked at whether giving vitamin D supplements to people with low vitamin D levels and newly diagnosed non-Hodgkin lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia could improve their outcomes. About 197 participants received either a low or high dose of vitamin D while undergoing standard cancer care. The goal was to see if raising vitamin D levels could help delay cancer progression.
