Summary
This study tested how well vitamin A is absorbed from fortified bouillon (broth) compared to an oil-based supplement. Fifty-eight healthy women ate different vitamin A formulations in bouillon and had blood samples taken to measure absorption. The goal is to see if adding vitamin A to bouillon cubes could help prevent deficiency in countries where it's a common health problem.
