Can pictures help cancer patients make better surgery decisions?

NCT ID NCT06965192

Summary

This study is testing whether visual tools help surgeons explain prostate and kidney cancer surgery options more clearly to patients. Researchers will record conversations between 20 surgeons and 200 patients before and after surgeons use the visual aids. They'll measure if discussions about surgery risks and benefits improve, and if patients feel better informed about their choices.
