This study tested a visual training program for 79 adults with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. The program aimed to improve two visual skills often impaired in this condition: seeing contrast and organizing visual information. Participants were split into groups to test different training approaches, with outcomes measuring vision, reading speed, and daily functioning. The goal was to see if improving vision could help people function better in everyday life.
