First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study compares virtual reality (VR) training to traditional mannequin training for teaching medical students how to manage airway injuries. About 40 medical students will be randomly assigned to learn using VR or a mannequin, then tested a week later. The goal is to see if VR can provide effective, cheaper, and more accessible training for this critical skill.
