Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality therapy could prevent anxiety, depression, and PTSD in people who had a lung transplant. 62 adults on the transplant list used a VR headset to gradually get used to stressful ICU situations like alarms. The goal was to see if this training could reduce psychological distress after surgery.
