First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality and mental imagery can replace traditional prism adaptation therapy for people with unilateral neglect after a brain injury. Researchers will first work with 480 healthy volunteers to see if these new methods work similarly to the standard approach. If successful, the goal is to create home-based treatments that improve daily independence.
