First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether watching videos with virtual reality (VR) glasses could lower anxiety in adults just before abdominal surgery. A total of 96 patients participated, and their anxiety and stress levels were measured using a simple scale and a smart bracelet. The goal was to see if a simple, drug-free distraction could help patients feel calmer before going into the operating room.
