First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study explores whether virtual reality (VR) can help people receiving palliative care—and their companions—achieve personal goals like relaxation or bucket-list experiences. Up to 12 patients will take part in up to 3 VR sessions at a hospice in England. Researchers will track mood, symptoms, and goal progress before and after each session, and interview participants afterward to understand what changed.
