First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether playing brain-training games using a virtual reality (VR) headset can improve memory, attention, and thinking skills in adults who have recently been in the intensive care unit (ICU). About 51 participants will be split into three groups: VR games, tablet games, or standard care. They will play for 12 minutes daily for up to a week, and their cognitive function will be tested over six months.
