Virtual reality goggles aim to stop senior falls

NCT ID NCT05535088

Summary

This study tested whether a short virtual reality (VR) training program could improve balance in older adults. Thirty-five volunteers over age 60 used VR headsets for six brief sessions over two weeks while standing in different positions. Researchers measured changes in balance and physical function to see if this high-tech approach could help reduce the risk of falls.
