Can a VR headset straighten Teens' posture?
NCT ID NCT07739082
First seen Jul 31, 2026 ยท Last updated Jul 31, 2026
Summary
This trial tests whether virtual reality-based posture training, using a Meta Quest 3 headset, can improve the spine curvature (kyphotic angle) and quality of life in adolescents aged 13 to 18 with thoracic hyperkyphosis (a rounded upper back). Participants will receive a 12-week program of corrective exercises, with some also using virtual reality. The study measures changes in spine angle, quality of life, and enjoyment to see if VR makes posture correction more effective and engaging.
