First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looked at 30 adults with a curved upper back (over 40 degrees) to see if that curve was linked to shoulder pain, how well they could move their shoulder, muscle strength, and daily function. Researchers measured the curve with simple tools and asked participants about their pain. The goal was to better understand the connection between posture and shoulder problems.
