NCT ID NCT06643598

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual version of the Abecedarian Approach—a proven early learning program—works as well as in-person care for children aged 0-5 who had a brain injury at birth (HIE) or were born very early (before 28 weeks). About 225 families in rural areas will participate, with parents attending live sessions every other week for up to 5 years. Researchers will measure parent satisfaction and child development to see if the virtual format is effective.
