Calming cataract fears: can a simple video ease surgery anxiety?
NCT ID NCT07030946
Summary
This study is testing if watching a short educational video before cataract surgery can help patients feel less anxious and better understand their own care. About 118 patients will be randomly assigned to either watch the video or receive standard instructions. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety and knowledge before and after surgery to see if the video helps.
