This trial tests whether watching an educational video before a surgical consultation helps colorectal cancer patients feel less anxious and more informed. About 100 adults scheduled for curative-intent colon or rectal surgery will be randomly assigned to either watch the video beforehand or receive standard care alone. Inclusion Criteria: * Adult patients (≥18 years of age). * Biopsy-proven adenocarcinoma of the colon or rectum. * Evaluated for surgical resection at the University Health Network (UHN). * Undergoing elective, curative-intent: Right hemicolectomy, Left hemicolectomy, Sigmoid resection, Low anterior resection, Abdominoperineal resection Exclusion Criteria: * Age \<18 years. * Emergency surgery. * Palliative surgery.
