Summary
This trial tests whether watching an educational video before a surgical consultation helps colorectal cancer patients feel less anxious and more informed. About 100 adults scheduled for curative-intent colon or rectal surgery will be randomly assigned to either watch the video beforehand or receive standard care alone. Researchers will measure anxiety, disease understanding, and how well patients feel they can participate in decisions about their care.
