Simple vibration and cold combo slashes pain during chest tube removal in heart surgery patients

Summary
This study tested whether vibration therapy, alone or with cold, could reduce pain and anxiety when chest tubes are removed after heart bypass surgery. 93 adults were randomly assigned to vibration, vibration plus cold, or standard care. Results showed both vibration methods significantly lowered pain and anxiety, with the combined approach working best.
