Summary

This study is for Veterans who smoke cigarettes and a support person they choose, like a family member or friend. The goal is to see if having that support person helps Veterans use proven quitting methods, such as medication or counseling. Researchers will track how much support is given and whether it leads to quitting. The results will help design better smoking cessation programs for Veterans.
