First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether playing pre-recorded voice reminders through headphones can reduce agitation when patients wake up from general anesthesia. About 42 adults having laparoscopic abdominal surgery will be randomly assigned to hear orientation reminders or not. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach helps patients wake more calmly.
