First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This observational study looks at whether the settings on a breathing machine (like pressure and power) are linked to how severe a person's brain injury is. It includes 19 adults with brain injuries from stroke, trauma, or bleeding who need a breathing machine. The goal is to see if these machine readings can help doctors understand brain injury better, but this study does not test any new treatment.
