NCT ID NCT07315711

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a vascular imaging device (a special camera that helps see veins) makes it faster and easier to place an IV in children under 18. About 500 kids having day surgery or procedures outside the operating room will take part. Researchers will compare how long it takes and how many needle sticks are needed when the device is used versus when it is not.
