First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug valbenazine to standard botox injections can better control neck muscle spasms and pain in people with cervical dystonia. About 20 adults aged 18-75 with moderate neck dystonia will take valbenazine pills for 12 weeks while continuing their botox treatment. The goal is to see if the combination improves movement and quality of life more than botox alone.
