First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a mild electrical pulse on the ear during breast cancer surgery can lower feelings of anxiety, depression, and pain after the operation. About 232 women will receive either the real stimulation or a fake version, and neither they nor their doctors will know which. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach improves emotional recovery and overall well-being after surgery.
