Summary
This study tests a tool designed to help people with advanced heart failure understand what life is like after getting a ventricular assist device (VAD), a mechanical heart pump. Researchers created the tool based on surveys from previous VAD patients about their quality of life at different time points. The study will enroll 10 patients and their clinicians to see if the tool accurately reflects real patient experiences.
