Stem cell injection during bypass surgery aims to repair damaged hearts

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new treatment called HiCM-188, made from stem cells that become heart muscle cells. It is given as a single injection into the heart during bypass surgery in 12 adults with severe heart failure. The main goal is to check safety and see if it improves heart function over 12 months.
