First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether an electronic screening system (eScreening) helps find mental health problems like PTSD, depression, and suicide risk faster in post-9/11 veterans. Researchers compared eScreening to the usual paper-based method in 72 veterans. The goal was to see if eScreening leads to quicker detection and more referrals to care.
