First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether narrow-band UVB light therapy can help people with stubborn ringworm infections that keep coming back despite standard antifungal treatment. Thirty-six adults with resistant tinea corporis or cruris will receive either UVB light alone or standard antifungal drugs. The goal is to see if the light treatment improves skin clearing and reduces infection recurrence.
