First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new type of marker that shows up brightly on ultrasound, making it easier for surgeons to find and remove cancerous lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery. The study involves 15 adults with breast cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes. The main goal is to see if the marker is safe, stays in place, and is easy to see on ultrasound after several months of chemotherapy.
